Join us as we embark on a journey on the Nene Valley Railway, with Afternoon Tea Included.

You'll get free time to enjoy Peterborough first (Approximately 2 Hours) before we board the Steam Train on the Nene Valley Railway. Afternoon Tea will be served as we travel through the picturesque Cambridgeshire Countryside.

We head to Stamford for Market Day. A bustling prosperous market town with quaint streets and delicious food- and famous for its many church spires. Widely regarded as one of the best stone-towns in England, there is sure to be something here that takes your interest.

Surrounded by countryside with 1,000 years of history to explore, Bury St Edmunds is the home of Saint Edmund, the original patron Saint of England.
Shopping in Bury St Edmunds offers plenty of choice with a great mix of fantastic independents and High Street favourites. There are beautiful outdoor spaces to explore and a plentiful arts scene.

We then visit the Food Museum; an estate that dates back to the Medieval Era and showcases the history of agriculture in East Anglia

In this trip we visit the Boundary shopping outlet in Grantham with high-street fashion, homeware and furnishing brands housed in a large, modern shopping complex. We also head over to Spalding and visit the Springfields shopping outlet, a popular destination among our customers with its village-style layout and dining options.

Taking its name from Walden Castle and the Saffron industry of the 16th and 17th centuries, Saffron Walden is a historic market town. The castle is the site of the largest turf maze in England, or you can visit the Bridge End Gardens, a series of seven linked gardens.

We then head off to Lavenham for some refreshing afternoon tea.

Located on the River Medway in Kent, dating back to the English Reformation in the 16th century, the Chatham Dockyards were the forefront of shipbuilding, providing more than 500 ships for the Royal Navy over the course of 414 years. At its height it employed more than 10,00 skilled artisans.

The Dockyards are also used as the exterior set for the show 'Call the Midwife' which we will be touring as they show us how they turn the Kentish dockyards into 1950s East London.

The National Space Centre is a museum and  educational resource covering the topics of Space Science and Astronomy. Originally posed as a research facility with public access in the 1980s, it was then proposed as a museum in 1995. Notable exhibits include: Moon rock, prised from a boulder near Shorty Crater; a mock-up of Sputnik and a spacesuit worn by Matt Damon in Ridley Scott's The Martian.
