Winter is coming to a close and we have the first few trips of 2025. This month we're heading out of Norfolk often for some spectacular days out, but there are also some daytrips closer to home for a quieter New Year.
A parade like no other, the Birmingham International Tattoo is Britain's biggest indoor tattoo featuring military and other marching bands, pipes & drums, field gun racing, dog racing, standard bearers, dance teams and much more including a spectacular Grand Finale with over 1,000 performers.
Stopping at least three times throughout the day with lunch included Matthews First of the Year Sunshine Loving February Mystery Tour will certainly be an entertaining day out... The destination remains a secret but its certain there'll be a roundabout and fun thrown in along the way!
These trips are incredibly popular so early booking is advised!
Along the banks of the River Stiffkey, Walsingham Abbey is covered in carpets of brilliant white snowdrops. We then take you on a coastal drive to visit the Holt Garden Centre, the perfect place to refresh the gardens and houseplants in time for spring.
As visitors step inside the glasshouse, the spectacular scenery of Peru will be recreated in floral form. A breath taking cornucopia sitting on a grass island will take over the central pond. Flamboyant flowers will tumble out, representing the abundance of biodiversity found in Peru, whilst in a smaller pond floral flamingos stand proud in front of the iconic Machu Picchu.
Fullers Mill was a popular trip last year, so this year we are returning to see the exquisite display of snowdrops. The garden itself is an enchanting and tranquil seven-acre creation on the banks on the river Lark.
Then on to Thetford Garden Centre, lovey large centre filled with plenty of garden decor, homeware and tools.
Windsor Castle is the namesake of the current royal family and is the longest serving royal residence, having been occupied since the reign of Henry I in the early 12th century.
The castle embodies nearly 1,000 years of architectural and British history as nearly every monarch has made use of the historic palace.
Sharing Coach with Legoland, Windsor
If Windsor Castle is not your cup of tea, we are also going to Legoland Windsor Resort. A perfect family day-out, Legoland is an iconic park filled with Lego-themed entertainment and attractions
